Hi all
After doing a search and reading some posts on the use of wheel spacers, there seems to be some mixed opinions as to how to set up / choose what you use.
At Inters I bag 4 well priced Forge 16mm spacers

Forge advised me not to fit these until I could secure a set of 16mm longer than OE wheel nuts, and recommended I used the TT Shop to source them. Been to their website this morning but cannot find the buggers.
Some people have experienced rubbing with 20mm, and usually I would have gone with 10mm's, but they had sold out of the special priced 10mm's on the day so 16's had to do.
My car is NOT lowered, and I wouldn't ever lower it more than 20mm from OE, so will these spacers still work on the roads without issues? Also some have said they use them on the back, but not on the front as they put too much strain on components. Whilst I get the physics/mechanics of this, wouldn't it look really odd if you space the backs and not the fronts? I assume there may be some effect in the way they tyres wear too.
If anyone knows a good source of cheap long bolts I'd be grateful for the tip, and also do I have to change my OE supplied locking bolts, or can I keep the ones I've got and cope with the 4 longer bolts doing most of the work?
cheers
