K1 Exhaust note...Dissapointing?????

Had the K1 for about 4 weeks now, i have been hoping that the exhaust will get deeper and well to be honest any kind of note at all, really dissapointed in it. Don't get me wrong don't expect it to sound like the R32 but surely something, i had a mk5 gti a couple of years ago and this sounded quite good, only done around 700 miles at the mo so maybe people with more miles on can say wether theirs makes a better noise now.

Also does anyone know what the difference is from k1 exhaust to normal cupra as the cupra i test drove had quite a nice sound when pulling off...

The K1 exhaust is more restrictive, try cutting out the centre resonator, and replace it with a straight pipe...

i have 1700 now and no sounds pretty much the same as new depends how hard i drive it.

In that clip the car was standard except for a Carbonio and a Full Turbo Back Milltek with 3" downpipe.

take out parcel shelf, fold down read seats close all windows turn off stereo and climate control, take it above 5 k in 3rd and enjoy ! the k1 is great but we cant hear it from inside unless you A) do the above, or B) get a mate to drive it whilst you listen

Yeah I have noticed that with my cupra, open all the windows when you drive along. Then it sounds awesome!

I had a blast in our one and when it reaches over 5k the exhaust sounds awsome, to be honest i quite like the fact that it is quiet when driving round town but nice when you give it a little.

My mate has an Astra VXR Nurburgring with the Remus Exhaust (boo !!!!) Now that is a noisy! Pops bangs the lot. I reckon it could get a little tiring though. The best exhaust for me would be throaty sounding at bigger revs and quiet round town and on the motorway!

Totally agree that is what i would like quiet around town etc but get some revs and then you get something, the r32 was exactly like that quiet when you wanted but sounde awsome when giving it some...
