so worth doing to the non cupra bumper then? was gonna go for the cupra bumpers but liking the euro style idea. tried searching but didn't find anything, was only a quick search i admit. will do a more thorough one when get a chance.

yeh mk3 bumper will look almost identical, its only the bottom corners on that one that are slightly diferent.

once the bumpstrips are smoothed off..How can u Fix the Bumpers on? Ect were to put cable ties ect
On the rear bumpers it dont matter as they dont bolt on behind the strips and on the front you just use the 2 by the foglights and the 4 along the slam panel
been thinking about this a bit more, just how fragile would the bumpers be as my suspension has to be the hardest in the world (my mate maintains i'l break her ribs yet!!) and is there somewhere suitable for the numberplate with the front bumper? its just i know with my boyfriends 6n2 he struggled for somewhere to put the numberplate and ended up putting it on the lower grill bit.

u could put it in the front window. i did this when i had a mk4 golf, completely smoothed bumper, looks 10 times better without the plate aswell i might add
yeah i totally agree it looks an awful lot better without a plate but don't get off with it here. my bf had his in the window for one night only and the police were all over us.

it is ilegal to have number plate in window and not situated on the front bumper!
and th police are clamping down on the right size with right lettering and in the right place on car made by the right company!
no way of getting off any more.
