No brakes when engine runing

Hi guys,
im new to scn and my first post is a call for help! iv recently changed my discs and pads as i wasnt really happy with the performance of my brakes. I bought discs pads and fluid from badger5 and changed my discs and pads yday, happy days. put my car into a garage today to change my fluid as its raining and no brakes!! when the engine is off the pedal pumps hard, when the engine is off foot to the floor! servo?? anyone had problems with Motul fluid?? your help is appreciated!

If the garage hasn't done a Leon before they might not be aware that there are two bleed nipples on the master cylinder, one on the clutch feed and one on each caliper for rear and two on each caliper for the fronts (for LCR)

Ill-advised on these cars, it is very easy to roll the seals in the brake master cylinder. They need power bleeding.


I'd suggest you get it power bled to see if that makes any difference before looking for damage.

there dos'nt seem to be air in the system tho cuz when i pump the brakes with the engine off it goes hard and is not spongy

do u reckon i could of rolled the seal when i push and wound the pistons back in then??

If you have to pump the brakes a few times to pressure up then there is air in the system.
You should only have to press the pedal to pressurise the system to max pressure.

so fist thing tommrow will be bleeding the master cylinder! i shall get back to you if this fails! thanks for all of your help guys
