I hope this is so they can fork out and buy some Leons.

Although they have never been a front running team, would be good if they stick with SEAT.

Sell 2 Toledos, buy 1 decent Leon for Mr Stockton to drive. Maybe one of the SEAT Sport Rolling Chassis'

I don't fancy their chances of selling. Adam Jones' 2007 car still hasn't been sold as far as I know, from looking at the online ads. Looking further down the cars for sale page - £115k for the two Alfa 156s from 2007.

You're probably right, through 2008, it/they have proved to be a little unreliable, and fairly uncompetative a times.

I saw that too, would be great if the Cupra series could be kept going independantly in some way, as it seems they are allowing the old Mk1 owners to register too

Too good to appear in Britcar surely? I did read that one of the Clio racers had a BTCC car in their transporter at the Silverstone meeting for 2009, but no other information was given.

One of the Clio teams is looking to step up to BTCC, first heard that a few months ago, and I did hear they were interested in the BTC Toledos, but with SEAT selling the TDI chassis', plus the Eurotech Integras up for sale, theres a lot of cars to choose from.

And if a clio team had a toledo on board, was it Adam Jones' old one, as thats now sold.

That's what I'm wondering. Could well be that they collected it at Silverstone from GR Asia. Looked back through threads on a btcc forum and it was Rob Gaffney the Clio driver who supposedly had a BTCC car in his truck.
