Barnstaple
Since I've had the car the aftermarket HU that was in there keeps reseting everytime I take the key out

I've been told that it's something to do with the yellow wire needing to be connected to the 12v power lead, or summin along the lines of that

Does anyone know how to 'fix' it and the method of doing so??

Cheers

The head unit needs a constant live-yellow wire, you need to conect it to a constant live in the car then it will work unless the head unit is knackered of course then it wont.

That's it :)

PS where are you in the SW?
Just been out to the car and tried pulling and wiggling the little leads out to swap them over - they won't budge!!

I am supposed to be able to pull them out right lol?

I live in Barnstaple mate, 'home of the traffic jam' hahaha

Just been out again, there are joins between both of the adaptor ends and none that I can see on the original ISO block

Do the bullet connectors actually pull out of the ISO? I don't wanna cause any damage

Nope, solid wires from end to end

I got the car with the stereo in there, I just haven't bothered to sort it out until now

I can't see Seat (I'm ok to be proved wrong) changing the leads around between an Ibiza and the Leon, so you need to cut both the red and yellow and swap them over, using connectors.

Just seems a bit strange that it wasn't wired up like that in the first place

I hope I'm not secretly draining the battery!!

Yeah true, it also turns completely off when I take the key out, but makes some beeps 5 seconds later
Probably normal though, it's a Sony
