where do people get them from, i cant find them ANYWHERE

I got mine from my Dealer

do they come with everythin you need to fully attach in the car etc???

im looking to put in a double din unit and am worried about the weight of the unit pulling the adaptor out.

You can get them from the dealer. For the correct colour to match your car facia you just need to give the dealer your VIN. Shouldn't be more than £15.
Its just a facia. Nothing else, the weight of the double din unit is supported by the cage that is behind the facia.

will i need to buy another adaptor as in other threads i've seen?

some people buy the sat nav surround and the mk5 golf surround and make 1 out of 2, will i have to do this?

could do with something that simply replaces the standard headunit so i can simply fit a double din unit

I don't have a part number handy but PM David at Seres and I am sure he can help you out. For a double din HU you just need the facia and nothing else.
