major chatter

just put an open cone air filter on and no i havegot majorly loud chatter what is it?

i had a bmc closed cone filter on before any ideas on what it could be

its a mk3 20vt

ive been looking at them cant seen to see any leaks, and its -27 on my boost gauge ticking over

boost guage is okay, should read minus when idling.

what type of d/v is it? if its a split-r then it will need adjusting.

sure the d/v is on the correct way? when mine wasn't i got chatter

got a baileys one recirculating one it was dumping fine untill i went open cone

its reading minus when idling

I have the forge 007p you can reverse the dump valves i am thinking of doing it to mine cause i am getting a chatter mine sounds a bit like atmosphere blow off valve are they meant to sound like that?

Noticed mines quite loud all of a sudden with almost a chatter sound to it.

mine is chattering like a cossie does its so load do you reckon a turbo smart will sort it

i think a few people on here have reversed them Simon and just sounds louder without the chatter i think.
