Hi,
I have fitted bilstien pss9 coilovers on my car and i am going to get the tracking and cambers set up.
I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what sort of camber would be best. I am hoping to do a couple of track days but mostly road driving.
Also what are people running and does help.

1.5 degrees negative is a reasonable compromised of road vs track use on road tyres

bill... i have -0.55 degrees on mine and i find tyre wear quite bad. currently i have around 2.3mm on the inside edge and 5.6mm on the outside, i would dread to think what -1.5degrees would do to my tyres...

i chose -0.55 degrees as this was the outside limit spec's for the cupra R and thought that would be a resonable camber.

-1.5 on road only use I always managed 8k out of most tyres - I considered that reasonable

i would check your tracking.. i did'nt get uneven wear like yours when running pss9's with those camber settings. mine was set to be parallel to slight tow out.

these days sits on -3.25' negative camber for racing @ combe

how would i go about checking the camber myself ?
im currently running p zero nero's and have had them on for about 6 months now.
 
So i take it its -1.5 camber then and can you do it yourself as our local garage is a rip off
 
when you adjust your camber your tracking will also change so you must adjust that afterwards... and inevitably the track rods ends will likely be seized and will need the oxy bottles on them to undo them.

best advise is take it to a reputable tyre place like we have pro-tyre round our region.
