yeah fair play! dont think it looks to bad! what colour would you have gone for! i was thinkin of yellow but thought it would look tacky.

I thought about yellow but didn't go for it in the end, when i have my respray i am going to have the engine bay matt black so the red will look better, i realy like it though.

got the replacment pipes for the fuel 2 day had to get braided ones! did start a thread about what ones you are ment to use but no 1 had any idear! thay go up to 150psi so should be enough! did have a read up and found out that you need different hoses due to it being fuel injected!!

still havent managed to get (no.3) so shinny been cleaning for ages! did you take the cover off! and if so does it create any probs!!

With VAGcom you can read the fuel pressure.
I know on the MK2 Leon Cupra its about 40 BAR/600PSI, but this won't be much help.
But I would doubt the MK1 is very far away from that

just had a look and re-orderd some high pressure injection hoses the bursting point is 750psi wich is over 50bar so should be better only prob is that i could only get it in stainless steel oh well should still look good and better to be safe then dead!!

Sorry mate the No3 is the cleaned and painted cam cover matt black the shine i think is the sun, its really easy to do unbolt then spend 10 mins trying to get it off, i re used the gasket no problems but if it brakes get a new one, then clean i used spray on gunk and the dish washer Shhh don tell the wife:D then primer and paint comes out really nice and under £20.
