I've decided not to go for a coilover kit.
I've got the 8v seat arosa and was wandering if the 16v suspension etc is better? so I can just get them instead just to improve the handling abit... would that work?

Also as far as I know there's no difference between the 8v and 16v suspension.

The Lupo Gti suspension is a little stiffer - I had it on my Arosa for a while - but won't lower the car.

the coilover kits are the exact same mate across the range

Thanks

Oh okay, Its just when I had a cinquecento the sporting version had better handling and suspension etc and was wandering if it was the same between the 8v and 16v. But doesnt look like it. I just want better handling, im not too fussed about lowering it... so should I just get performance suspension then?

Need some suggestions please :) thanks.

I'd go for a good quality springs and shocks kit, or a coilover kit but not set much lower than 40-60mm. You want to get the suspension stiffer, the car a little lower, but not so low that you are bottoming out on everything (including the shocks!).
