Both bars? Ibizas only have a single ARB up front...
I believe Jabba manufacture an uprated front ARB for the Ibiza. Powerflex make uprated bushes too. I went for the revised 21mm Skoda Fabia ARB with metal bush retainers which won't corrode so easily.
It's quite a job to change the ARB as the front subframe has to be dropped in order to get the ARB out.
Ive got the adjustable whiteline on mine... Certainly feels much flatter when cornering, but not had a chance to put it on its stiffest setting on a track yet.
is that with standard suspension?
I have the Whiteline rear ARB (on the stiffest setting with coilovers) and it does make a difference on standard suspension.
To the OP - which means that now is a good time to fit Cupra TCA rear bushes and maybe even Powerflex front TCA bushes - as that is a crossmember dropping job as well!
Can you feel a difference with it on its stiffest setting??? Im hoping to get some three wheel action at Donnington in a few weeks, do you think its possible?
I've had my Whiteline rear ARB on stiffest setting for over a year now..I can't imagine going back to no ARB.
The stiffest setting is a bit harsh over bumps on standard Cupra suspension as the ride is pretty stiff without it, but going round corners is good fun. Taking roundabouts flat out in 2nd and then lifting off gives some really controllable lift-off oversteer![]()
Yea, you can mate.
I had it on the stiffest setting for about a week before I fitted my coilovers and it deffo feels better.
But add coilovers and a Seat Sport front strut brace to it and it transforms the handling![]()
sounds intresting, flat out though this rear arb is sounding better.
i was worried a stiffer rear end was going to make the car a bit slippy on the back.
Ive got an adjustable polished Forge front strut brace![]()
