I'm guessing they may say engine warranty is invalid or something, exhaust?, times are tight at the moment for all manufactures so they will look to wangle out of more claims than before.

Im interested in the De-DPF because i have had 4 sensors fail and the cars only 4 months old! But i dont want to risk loosing the rest of my Warranty and i will probably trade it in once its out of Warranty because i wont get sensors replaced for free anymore, which im guessing will be 36 of them by then?!
Other manufacturers have had issues though, SAAB for example have had terrible issues.
I suspect that the facelifted FR won't have the same issues as they seem to apply the PD engine and not the CR.
I think keeping the car until the warranty runs out is a good plan and just be prepared to initiate the re-gen procedure when prompted to do so, rather than risk any problems.
