I know this is fussy but is it possible to make the driver side (RHD) wiper be the second to operate?
My setup at the moment, passenger side blade down second and therefore last up, leaves a really annoying blade end water mark in my vision :cartman:

Don;t think this can be done but if I am wrong someone will let us know. Quite annoying as you always end up with a line of water off the end of the blade

I assume we're suffering due to driving on the left. Must be possible though.

alarm LED on the passenger door etc

Though this was better as most people walk on the side of the passenger when packed on street

Their obviously independent (anyone who hasn't had to change the 'blades yet, tap the stalk after turning the keys to the off position) [B)]

...so I wonder if you could just swap/extend & swap the plugs over

I think has just inpired me to try out a new mod :funk:

correct, although i dont think it is possible to change.
its the same reason we all have lhd centre consoles, alarm LED on the passenger door etc

Indeed, but this is clearly something controlled by software and not a physical restriction.

Well this was a stupid idea, cos of course the n/s wiper sits lower when horizontal than the o/s one, so they'll just crash into each other

I think that rules out the software fix too - it's a combination of hardware & software

Beginning to think this is why SEAT didn't fix it

correct, it was. (only teasing ;))

the left hand wiper sits higher than the right hand in the down half of the stroke, yet they park in the same up or vertical position. as such the angle of sweep is slightly greater on the left hand, so mechanically they are different.
im not 100% sure but im guessing its the case, that the wiper motors only go in one direction, ie clockwise or anticlockwise, and its the linkage that reverses the blades direction.
i have been wrong before though .
