Hey i am just wondering will a golf VR6 complete Bumper fit my 96reg Ibiza??

I am picking one up tonight to fit monday
With gearbox

Anything can fit if you cut it and use filler when needed, but it won't be a straight swap lol. It's like asking will the bumper on my passat fit my ibiza????

it's approximately 70mm wider if it helps

Bought it now and thanks fl@pper thats the info i was asking...

I am going to make it fit as i dont want to follow the trends of bodykits or just putting splitters on...
Plus i like the look of the VR6 bumpers...

The mounting bolts/clips etc are all going to be in totally different places, and the bumper isn't going to line up with the wings/wheel arch.....

I'll eat my hat (think I've got one somewhere!) if it does 'fit'......

No criticising you mate, all for someone trying something original, but this just won't work in my opinion

And if it is made to fit the car, it won't 'work' looks-wise, but happy to be proven wrong.

I don't see how you are going to shave 70mm out of it though, and make it look nice.
