got a local machine shop ? anywhere that does head skimming etc with a lather would proabbly do it for ya to ya own spec

my old man does em for the local grass racers all the time does clean up skims for the breakers yard too

as for the weight and spec it's worth a search as i'm sure a few opinions to what's got pro's and con's etc has been mentioned before, i can imagine light is good to rev but crap for engine braking i would say ???

VR6 as a different PCD on the flywheel but the 16v is the same as a G60 so get on Club GTi or E38 and have a look on the for sale section for either of them.

Otherwise go onto Club GTi and search for Hot Golf, he did mine for me and usually sells them on Club GTi already lighten and balanced.... don't know if he's still doing them now tho but have a look.

i know the bloke so won't say prices. The 8v flywheel is smaller and lighter than the 16v.... think the weight of the 16v is something like 12kgs and its taken down to 6kgs.
