i thinking of have a Stage 2 remap
on my leon cupar 1.8 20vt

hopefully
180-220 bhp

wat kind of upgrade will i need to make
and also what is the safe Bhp for the engine befor i need to start re-place piston, rods and tubro

A Stage 2 remap typically requires the addition of an exhaust to the mix. Otherwise you would be interested in a Stage 1 remap which is designed for an otherwise completely stock car.

Dont go for stage 2 software on stock hardware... thats what stage 1 is for
if thats what they're offering you they're idiots

I also have a 20VT Cupra, and am also considering a re-map, early investigations so far, but I'm trying to suss things out. I was curious, what did you do in the end and what did you find out??
