de-cat down pipe

after fitting the de-cat pipe do u have any problem with the 2nd lamber
or the engine light coming on

There are no censors in a diesel CAT or any part of the exhaust so no problems with any warning lights.

Iv been quoted £280 by rebel power pipes for a 2.5" stainless steel turbo back system with one small box in it. does this sound reasonable or a little bit pricey?

Unique exhausts stafford quoted me 250 or 380 with high flow cat, I chose magnex and apr...so wished I would have gone Unique!

Any piece of steel pipe the same diameter will do, just needs to be wielded in place.

had my de-cat dwn pipe done and wat a noise the wossshhh sound is gr8!!!

only thing is the guy who done it sed it mite fail the smoke test is this true???

Nope. The CAT has nothing to do with how much smoke is produced from the exhaust. The bloke was thinking about petrol cars and passing the MOT but knows nothing about diesel cars and how they pass an MOT.
