does anyone know how to remove an ignition from the steering rack ?? as i am going to replace it

strip off the switches and wheel etc and remove the column

done that ive got the column out but how do i get the ignition off the column??? i think its number 1 on the diagram i cant get the barrel out the assembley so i want the whole ignition off the cloumn if u get me

undo it's clamp and lever it off the column upwards

there is a way to get the barrel out the ignition but involcves having a working key + drilling a 4mm hole in a specific spot
