Heh heh, you win.

A dog enjoying the feeling of speed is one of those things that never fails to bring a smile to my face.
I'll have to add that to my mod 'wishlist'.

ok well iv had time to come to a conclusion about my opinion of this new Cupra R.

somebody really has to email Seat askin what they're thinking...

the difference between the mk1 cupra and mk1 cupra R were many, twin side mount intercoolers, yes bigger brakes (brembos). bigger turbo, manifold etc etc...

so from the announcement of a mk2 cupra R i would expect something of the similar differences/upgrades.... and we get what boils down to a badge and a remap...nice :funk:

seeing as the Cupra has 240 bhp i would have thought that the R would be rivalling the new focus RS with around 300bhp and some more shiny upgrades...

as good as the standard brakes are on the cupra, (just like the old cupra), from the previous generation it is only logical to upgrade to the brembo 4 pots...

the main thing that i liked was the more menacing styling, the front girll was superb...id have expected similar styling changes.but noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...

i could go on but iv said enough...il pass on this cupra R and look elsewhere for a next car option.

I think the Cupra, K1 and R can all be seen as pretty much the same car; being one step up from the 210bhp FR.

The Cupra gets a bigger turbo over the FR. The K1 is the Cupra with a go-faster body kit for a little bit more money. And the R is a Cupra with big wheels and a remap for a little bit more money again.

Mechanically, there's very little between them to see them as different cars IMO.

I just seen that actually. But theres another article that says the TT-RS will have a 400bhp option...
