New LCR owner some help please...

Ladies/Gents

I wonder if you can help. Before you ask, yes i have used the search facility but i find myself being distracted by readers rides i getting jealous of the sweeeet LCR out there, needless to say i could do with some help on the following...

1. Beesting aerial - Is the s2000 generally the best fitting?
2. Aero wipers - boosch?
3. Rear wiper - Fabia the best any other options?
4. Cat-back exhaust - no idea what the options are here - id like something with a nice burble...suggestions

1) yes s2000 or citroen C2 seem to be the most common, c2 is smaller
2) correct
3) fabia estate gives a full plastic arm or normal fabia gives a half plasic arm and shows half the blade
4) Miltek non res or blueflame are the most popular but you can also go for a piper, jetex or the underated supersprint

whats the loudest out of the blue flame or miltek?

the miltek non res is louder than the resonated but the blueflame is probably louder (but not silly loud) than the miltek non res

listened to some footage on youtube and i think il go for the blue flame - £295 for cat back sound about right price wise?

resonated comes with an extra small silencer and makes it very much like standard with out slightly louder burble on tickover, non res doesn't have the extra silencer and you get more of a throatier sound when you put your foot down but saying that i don't think this is as loud as the BF. Depends how loud you want it really mate

peresonally, if i was you id look into the aero, or polo rear wiper conversion. I have the fabia, but id say the polo is an improvement again.

My memory is vague on this but didn't someone establish Renault aero wipers fitted the oem arms.......pretty sure they were from a megane or scenic......pretty cheap option too, a search may throw some light on this

thanks for the replies. i think im sold on the blueflame to be honest. if going to spend £300 i want to notice the sound

iv just order the fabia rear wiper blade rather than the estate but like somone has just suggested you can get alsorts of alternatives still.

boosh aero front wipers order too

just toying with the s2000 or c2 aerial - the latter would seem cheaper as the s2000 costs £25 for a stump!

C2 is my personally preference as it's only about 1.5-2 inch long and looks far better when fitted. Plus i think you get them from the bay at about a quarter of the price of an s2000/civic one

Can anyone shed some light what this part is called as i need to order a new one as the current one has a slit in it and is sucking air/**** in as its bypassing the the air filter reducing power and probably increasing fuel consumption.

The guy who works at dealership (on here) said the only part he can think of is around the £75+vat mark

If i can source a second hand one that would be great but first i have to identify the part name so i don;t order the wrong bit!

its the plastic bendy bit that joins the air filter to the engine(?)

any ideas?

the TIP (turbo intake pipe)???

it goes from the airbox to the turbo and joins to various other bits.

yes sounds like the TIP.
Im not aware of these splitting... although a good opportunity to upgrade it as there is the other issue...

I had mine split too but started to cause limp mode due to its size
Replaced with a nice forge one, DIY job

Is the aerial change for cosmetics or does it for better reception (or both) was thinking of changing mine as the reception for stations other than Radio 1 arent too great. Thanks for that link though - seems cheap. Let us know how it goes when you get it.
