does anyone know what bulbs are used on the main beam with the xenon headlight ?

Hi mate, the high beam is just a normal H1 bulb as used by all other Leons. Get a pair of Philips 90% brighter Extreme bulbs in there and it will be much better. Good white light of these.

Ebay is your friend for these, not sure how much they are but plenty of them for sale on there.

Unfortunately the Philips Extreme bulbs aren't available in H1 fitting

If you want some decent H1 bulbs get some Osram Nightbreakers which are a 90% bulb and you can get them cheap on Ebay

autobulbs have the osrams at 50 % off so i might pick a set up.

Had an email from Powerbulbs today the H1 Xtreme bulbs will be available from the end of October

It is but he already has the dipped Xenon's so wants to upgrade the Main Beam which is a H1 fitting
