That doesnt prove anything.

Why would audi release a rs3 with more power than the tt-rs

Plus if it was gonna happen my usual audi lads would have let slip long before any publication.

If there is to be a rs3 which I dont think there will in this gen shape, it will have 340hp or less.

I wouldnt care if it was 350 or 400. I think that car looks gorgeous, very mean. I would swap my evo for it lolol

In the world of Audi fans there are people who have had retainer deposits down awaiting this car for some time (not myself included there).

I can't see it coming on the A3 8P platform, and if it was to arrive see the new 2010 platform being used. They would have to use the 5 cylinder lump if they make it as the 2.0T whilst good is not worthy of an RS badge. The spy shots of the RS3 on Autocar are so S3 like I can't see them being anything more interesting than a run out version S3 (like the old Cupra R was to the Leon Mk1), to raise the S3's game in a world where it's prowess as a hot hatch top contender is fast being eroded. Still nothing from the dealers on them either, but then they struggle to remember what brand of car they sell sometimes so no surprises there.

No where near as good as the orignal leon cupra r was when launched, the original had a whole new interior style, bumpers, wheels, grilles, etc etc. the only thing i like are the seats and the badges, infact will get the black R badge for mine when they are released.

Good to see they've adopted the fourth gen Haldex system (didn't realise this is also in use on MY2009 S3's). Just a shame it isn't quite as good as the proper Torsen 4WD on the new S4.

That looks very nice. The only way the could have made this new LCR any worse would have been to put the aero kit on it

The golf is the 1 to beat im afraid , The leon looks dated now compared to whats being released elswhere.
I will not be upgrading to a new shape Leon , may go Scirocco R or if i could afford then Golf R.
The styling on the new Leon is all soft , not aggresive at all , i think they realy missed the trick with the R , seems VW are proud to be more beefy with their R versions.

I like the Scirocco R20 10 times better. I'm not a fan of Golfs in general cause they're too conservative for my taste, but even a Golf looks more interesting than this Cupra R. Luck Donckerwolke, hurry and bring us a nice and fresh looking new Leon, pleeeeaaase !
