mk4 Golf R32 discs, pads and calipers worked a treat on mine 
if your feeling more plush then go for some porsche 4 pots

He has a cupra R so has brembo 4 pots anyway
pads i would say ferodo DS2500, just started running these and much better than OEM
disc wise dependant on budget
330mm 2 piece setup from biil is awesome but expensive

I agree, you'll be more than happy.
Venture on a track and you'll be wanting a bit more of an upgrade.
