Just bought a new Leon does the older model bumpers fit?
I mate is fitting a BTCC kit to his 08 FR wil his old bumpers fit my new car?

no i don't think it will as the lights are different the whole bumper shape is different...and as far as im aware the aero kit is not ou for sale for the new spec leons i'll refer them to mk3 shape...if im wrong plus correct me

Nope like Dave has said the Facelifted Leon (I thinks its more MK2.5 rather than 3) has different lights so the old bumpers will not fit.
I think there is an updated Aero kit bumper for the facelifted cars available.

Yes there is, this is at my local dealer, but notice it has the standard FR grill rather then the honeycombe one featured on a standard facelift FR

would i be right in thi9nking that the lights are pretty much the same as the last model... its the bumper shape /design that makes them look slightly diff?
