rear is a piece of. undo bottom of shocks, attatch the arb to them, then bolt to the rear axle mate. fitting kit explains this.

if you go whiteline put it strait onto the highest setting, the first is a little weak.

james walker, how do you replace the front track rod, you seem to know, got any guides anywhere mate??

Could this be the diff causing this to happen, a diff not properly working??

Now your on the right lines, it sounds like its just torque steering when you boot it. You have to bear in mind that the n/s driveshaft is half the length of the o/s and power will be transfered to it much quicker than the o/s.
The n/s may be getting more grip than the o/s so its diving that way.

Does it only happen when your really pushing it?

But its not right, it didnt do it before and has only happened within the last couple of months, its not torque steer, cause torque steer you can hold the steering wheel tight and it will go straight, but mine if you hold it tight, it still pulls one way then you let off and goes the other

And my steering feels loose, plus when i wiggle the steering wheel very quickly you can hear a knocking sound

Check if eveything is tight on the hub (the big nut etc) and once the track rod has been replaced then have the tracking, camber and castor angle all checked.
Have a see that the u/j on the column and the part of the rack where the column enters it is it all secure and check there is not play in them.
The o/s drive shaft could be worn on the splines in the gearbox on the flange which could mean most of the power is being transfered to the n/s shaft.

Also it it is inperative that the ball joint is in correctly. I once saw a ball joint on a leon that had been fitted and 2 of the 3 securing bolts had missed the ball joint and this allowed the wheel to swing out when the car was driven, it wrecked a set of tyres in 2 weeks.
