hi what part number is the thermostat on 2001 ibiza cupra,and rough price and were abouts is it on engine.Is it a big job to fit as the sender doesnt seem to be the problem why gauge on dash dosnt read all the time as i replaced it last nite.

Did you fit a genuine temp sensor? I've had alot of problems with GSF ones in the past

i have fitted a intermotor temp sensor and it only lasted a year and playing up again..

thermostat is under inlet manifold by the alternator in the plastic hosing going to engine block its a fiddly job but not to hard to do.. they cost about 7 quid ish depends where you get one from

ok had a auto spark check sender and is working ok,i think it must be a fault in the dash.Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the ibiza cupra 2001 and also how do you get the clocks out past the steering wheel

you dont get the clocks past the steering wheel, you have to remove it.

Do i need to buy a thermostat kit when changeing the thermostat or just the thermostat as i see ones advertisted when two o rings and gaskets

Dont need a gasket. But you will need coolant and the thermostat should be supplied with a new rubber seal.
