Which SMF to use?

Hi there.

Im planning on going Hybrid with my PD130 Ibiza and already know what clutch im going for (sach organic clutch) but im not sure what SMF to use? Ive seen that Jabbasport provide a whole kit but i want to build the kit up over time rather than pay outright all at once.

anyone know which one i need?

well jabba can sell the smf seperate ,

Jabba told me that they sell them all seperate, but their SMFW is custom made for the sachs cluct. i am pretty sure the DMFW has different clutch to the SMFW! not sure if that helps

They quoted me about £969 for the clutch, SMFW, bolts and release bearing!

Seems bloody expensive to me!! For 1k you can have a lightened SMF and clutch kit.

ye mate, thats wat they quoted me! i am not sure wat to do, i want the SMFW but really cant be spending 1k on it!

the jabba kit has a balanced and lightened flywheel and can handle upto 420lbft, i think that you will end up spending more money buying the bits seperately

Ah my mistake then, I thought the SMF wasnt a balanced/lightened one.

Price seems about right then?

i would have throught it was a lightened and smaller one! not 100% sure tho, not worth the extra money in my oppinion.

going to use the money for a diff instead!
