I think I need to organise to take my car south as there are no places/parts/people willing to fit that stuff up here. Would be cheaper to add a few more bits to mine than to trade in for a new car methinks

What of the faulty turbo Rob, have you considered giving it the hybrid treatment for an easy 400bhp. What is agreed as a safe limit for the cupra Rods (400ft/lbs) maybe.

The reports I have had are that hybriding wont make much difference as the K04 in the Cupra is a pretty efficient design in the first place. You would also need a a custom map to take advantage of it too. I have a spare K04 and have looked at deals from various places to have it done and would get a decent deal too as it would be the first one they have done.
It would be good to see some of you lads as well. Might see if I can get my chariot booked in for some stuff and get along to this r/r day as I have loads of hol time coming to me anyway
