Well simple as the title really, I want to know how to deactivate the buzzer noise when the seat belt is not warn..

I thought its a simple set of instructions required, turn lights on then off etc, key turn or something?

Can someone please help?

Thanks peepz!

The first question that springs to mind.. why dont you just put your belt on?

If you have a medical condition that prevents the belt from being worn, the warning will stop after a few minutes.

the fault is the passenger seat senser if you need to turn it off unplug the blue plug under the seat ok

Rather than un-plugging stuff, is there no code that can do this? I had a mondeo, and what a up grade to the Leon FR lol.. anyway, I was wondering if there is code of sequence to turn the buzzer off and on again..

And NWhiteley I know it goes off after a good few mins, but its annoying.. just thought I'd ask if there is a way of coding it off, like most cars have a sequence etc..

nice one mark1231 - no codes etc?

And guys relax I do wear it.. but just wanting to know if there is a way to turn it off, without disconnecting stuff !

My passenger one never worked and I got it fixed under warranty - wish I hadn't now lol as it not goes off if I put something as light as my coat on the seat!

DanGB your hardcore mate! all that code making my head spin!!

i thought its a simple process of turning the lights on, then off, turn the key on and off and jobs a good en!

flipping heck, dont know where to start with that link you sent!! need sleep!! will try and scan it again in morning, try to find a simpler process!

Thanks mate. These modern cars are complicated beasts, basically a computer :)

Would be handy if you could find someone near you with VAG-COM and a CAN-BUS cable to do this for you. where abouts are you located?

hows everyone adding pics to their profiles, i wanna upload my FR baby too :( just tried, but cant see the option too :(

anyways, thanks very one for the input! but no way am i spending money to deal with the buzzer, already spent £240 on the diesel that failed! Ouchh!

Im in Sunny Manchester... honestly no bother might unplug these plugs mark chatting about.. Agggh!

get some seatbelt plugs from scrapyard and plug them in instead of seatbelt when u need... :)
keep in mind that airbag system is linked with signals from seatbelts...
