Vale Rd... think there is a newsagents on the end of your street (corner or Vale/Oxclose Ln) and a chippy nearer Station street? Wife used to deliver round that way...

VAG-COM is made by RossTec (http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/). It allows you to see the fault codes, reset engine management light, change settings on the car like idle or remote door locking. When licensed it allows you to also run data logs on the car so you can see things like MAF readings, boost levels (actual vs requested) and fuel trim etc.
