I Have the connection for ipod AUX cable, but Seat say i need a certain lead that will allow the ipod to charge and that i will be able to use the steering controls with, does anybody know what this AUX cable is and where i can get one from? Seat sell them near me for £100  fir an aux cable WTF!!!

ye i have one of them now, but it doesnt charge ipod or use contols, aint really bothered but if i can take advantage of them then i may aswell do aint i :D

The iPod interface is £100 - this isn't just an 'aux lead' - it's a full interface giving you control of the iPod and charging it etc.

You can pick them up direct from the supplier (connects 2) for around £50 - depends how confident you are about not damaging trim getting it fitted - otherwise you may end up spending the money saved on a replacement trim panel.

On a side note you'll lose the current aux socket functionality if you get the iPod interface as they use the same port on the HU

sound cheers for that. i allready have a AUX hole under the head unit it isnt part of the head unit. is that they one you mean?

Have you got the CUP interface with the USB connector as well?

If so the cable to connect an ipod is around £55.00 from your dealer and will play and charge the ipod
