Hi guys

I need the change the rear suspention on my Mk3 Cupra was going to just change the rear with standards again but then thought i just aswell change the whole lot to coilovers.

Ive done a search on here and found the Weitec Hicon GT Coilover Suspension Kit.

http://www.dpmperformance.co.uk/wei...-6k-14-16-cupra-18t-19tdi-20-0899-p-1585.html

Has any1 had these with 18inch wheels on their cupra as i dont want to get them if they scrub will scrub. Ive got standard suspention on at the moment and the wheels are quite close but dont scrub unless i have 2 people in the back.

So just looking for some advice really.

Also any pics of people with the kit on their cupra's?

Thanks

It'll be tight but the good thing with coilovers is you could set them to just before it rubbed. They're also be stiffer then the standard suspension so won't travel as much.

Thanks for the reply, so the set ive linked to on your site would they be the sort of thing i should be going for?

And how easy is it to set the height? with the linked set do they have to be off the car to set them up or can they been done when they are fitted to the car?

Thanks

Basically you just turn the adjusters up to heighten the var and down to lower the car and this car be done whilst the kit is installed.

They turnt up and few questions, (ive posted it in another thread but didnt get a whole answer)

What mounts/bearings do i need to buy as i have a full set of coilovers ready to go on front and back.

What should i buy so i can remove the old ones and not have to use any old bits.

Thanks

You need a full set of standard front and rear top mounts, rear bump stops and did you also want to replace the bolts as well?
