Gear knob

[N3 CPRA]

Does anybody know if there is a gear knob which has the cupra logo stitched into it.
jus wondered if such a thing exists as have a metal momo knob but fancy a more oem look.

16v cupra's have "Cupra" stitched into the gearknob.

i wouldnt say it was stitched in tho! its on the plastic bit with the gear numbers on! ive been looking for 1 for age`s but as yet havnt found one, either new or used!!they are unavalible from seat, just the leather gearknobs are still avalible. mite have found one but dave put it in a safe place but carnt remember where! but apart from that one, they are like rocking horse pooh! good luck and let me know if you find one!

bugger i thought that would be the case, thats exactly wot im looking for, my current one is jus a metal momo ball, its nice for wot it is but freezing in the morning.
i new they were hard to find but cnt believe even the dealers dnt have any. hmmm
this may take sum searching, tried ebay all it came up with was a skull with led lights in it lol

have you had a look at the mk3 cupra gearknob mate? thats got cupra written on it but i think you will need the gaiter aswell! ive looked at it but have got a tiger interior and the cupra knob will finish it off nicely. im going to get a leather one for now but am still searching for the cupra knob. you know what they say, you carnt find one then 3 turnup at once!

sorry not atm, cars back in cov, i will upload a pic later, i like the fact it's more round, then the mk2 shape one, but at the same time it looks OEM!

i agree with that it does look slightly more oem, but do you need the gaitor as well?
These seem to be a hell of a lot easier than findignt he mk2 equivilent.

i have the whole centre console from a mk3 mate, the previous owner did a straight swap

looks straight fit, with some trimming for the bit that sits under the dash (or maybe not)
sorry like i said above my car is in cov, so as soon as i am back in uni i will get some pics up, the guy put a voltmeter where the mk3 has gauges, dunno why? i was thinking of maybe an oil pressure one? dunno if i can be arsed to wire it etc tho lol

Ive been wondering the same with thing about the mk3 centre console. I quite like the sliding bit on it and was thinking of fitting one in my mk2 but wasnt sure about fitting.

from what i can gather, its a straight swap with no cutting. im managed to get hold of 2 centre consoles and ordering a gauge holder tommorow so i will let you know what happens, oh and got a mk3 gearknob and gaiter aswell. you might be interested to know that there are/were 2 mk3 gearknob+gaiters on ebay earlier!

ah sweet i wish id had a look on ebay, will do that in a bit, seems like a worthy alternative coz i cant seem to find a mk2 one anywhere, like rocking horse poo.
