At 270 miles to a tank, it's more often than it should be on a diesel... some of the boca boys are getting better economy than I)

I get around 350-370 miles..

Ditto. Would never have bought a Seat till the new Ibiza came out. The old models are fugly (in my personal opinion).

dunno, i quite like the mk1 Leon, (not the mk2 though, i don't like the sad stretchy face, though i do half like the rear) and the mk2/3 ibiza has some old-skool kitsch about it, but yeah, i'd neevr actually pay for one. This new ibiza is by far the best looking car in it's class imo and one of the best looking cars on the road in general.

Old-skool kitsch - I like that Though I've happily entered the process of swapping my old-skool kitsch for a mk5.

I love the mk1 Leon facelift Cupra's and would actually buy one only for the insurance/running costs, and the interior.

The interior is what also puts me off the mk4, one of my mates has a grey 1.9 DAB Ibiza with the digital radio etc, it looks really nice - very similar to a FR but the interior is a bit crap and it doesn't even have remote controls for the radio.

Not that I know of here but if some one feels like being vindictive they may do that and trust me your motor would be mashed mate.

About 35mpg but only a 45 litre tank so fairly limited range wise.

bet you will get more mpg doing a long drive on motorway,
and i found if you drive in manual mode without cruise control on seems to be higher

That's crazy, I have had my 1.6 tdi since last Saturday and I am seeing on an average of 50mpg which is a mix of driving conditions, I did have 62mpg the other day though which was mostly dual carriageway.
I have done about 420 miles on my first tank so far and got about 70 left according to the computer I think.
