Known problems?

Hi im new to the forum, im in the process of buying a Ibiza mk2 gti.... well i put a deposit down and getting it tommorow! I know they are reliable cars but i just wanted to ask if theres any known problems or things to look out for when getting these cars! Mileage is on 96.000.

pedal box , damp in the boot or down in the footwells, rust on the rear arches, try to make sure its had a belt change (should be done @60K ) other than those, its really just the usual stuff to look out for.

or they took the bulb out!!!
so turn car over (first notch) and check lights

check arches for rust (little bit can be fixed, excessive can cost a lot)

there has been loads of crashes in the snow, so check the car is driving straight and not going to a side etc. as this can be pricey if wishbones etc.

Just to add, mine had a clicking noise in reverse, wasn't a problem at all in the three years I owned it.

when i say works ok in reverse, i mean that it doesnt jump out of gear.

K&N panel filter
Magnex exhaust (not to loud, sounds raspy)

Ill post some pictures up tommorow mate! cleaned the engine bay today used auto glym engine cleaner! came up a treat.
One thing i do need for the car is some jacking point covers... you know on the sills. Know anywere to get them?

Very well thanks mate. gave it a good clean and wax yesterday, got some pictures of it! going to put them up tonight! Do you know if a drivers side ball joint is hard to change!? When i brought it the bloke said it needed doing!
