Honestly mate I thought I would regret the decision

But I can say now (well for know) I don't

The best thing about the Ibiza was the exclusivity of the colour and looks.

But everything else I would have the Corsa (Cant believe I said I have a Corsa :banned:)

Inside its such a nicer place to be.

just little things like cruise control as standard oh and id i mention the amazing comfy seats?! lol

Power wise its different but obviously still has the turbo kick, the speed comes almost without trying and even noticing.

this is the grille that maybe up for sale

grile.jpg

and the headlights protectors were just sprayed on the inside with about 4 very very light coats of tint spray

I didnt want them too dark

Obviously you spray as much as you want. just be careful and do light coats

Ill let you know then mate but will more thn likelyy be up for sale

along with a few other bits

i don't think tinting spray is ever going to be perfect to be honest but for the amount of times you will use the light protectors and bare in mind the tint will be on the inside you shouldnt really be able to see if it is streaky

Im not sure on the measurements of how low as the garage I got to do it set it up so that it was practical yet looked good

how come you went for the dampers and spring combo? instead of the sheepish coilovers

well...didnt need coilovers really, no track days really so didnt need adjustable height etc...plus the dampers and springs were a bargain and still look good...

i didnt want anything too extreme and think the height is just right..

count me in for the grill mate..if you want to sell it that is :p

anyway which is quicker the vxr or the remapped FR? or they not really comparable?

I have to say that now

but seriously it is a fast car and im happy I changed but sad to see the Ibiza go

really though is it?

are they similar in anyway...i really considered one before the FR, but went for the ibiza because of tax, insurance and economy...looks nice though

seen a red one with black alloys and tinted looks really stealthy.

Looks nice buddy! I did see these for sale when buying my R32, but how much they depreciated in such a short time put me off.

Hopefully you'll start a new thread and keep things updated? I've heard some really nice sounding VXR's too! Especially the Astra Nurburgring's!

nice little corsa you have there i considered getting one before i got my cupra but ive always slagged vauxhalls off to everyone as ive never been a vauxhall fan but i really like the look of the new corsa shape.

Ye to be fair mate I have never been a massive vauxhall fan but I think thy have really pulled their finger out on these VXR editions

Its not a vauxhall on the rear anymore as I have just this second taken the big VX badge and the "corsa" off

let the mods begin lol :funk:

One man less to hunt for torches and Ice cubes this year then.

I know I think I will miss going on that

unless marcus gets himself another Seat which he might, then I might ride shotgun with him

cant you get the dents smoothed out with paintless dent removal ? unless its in a bad area . im lovin the car!! saw it reviewed on top gear and they said it was rapid and handles well. sahme i cant afford one but am trying to get an FR at least and by the sounds of things you had fun with yours. sometimes you have to move on like you did..

Ah I wouldnt go THAT far!

I must admit I cant blame you. I think the Vauxhall scene has always been associated with Corsa B's and C's chavving it up! That's one thing I love about the VAG scene, always seem to be more down to earth people overall!

Like I say, enjoy it and keep us updated! :)
