hi i have just bought my self a mk1 lcr 210 it has the nice recaro seat but does not have te brembo brakes ? i always houht these were standard does any one know if they are a extra or not ? many thanks in advance Adam

ohh i see thank you very much i did wonder it dd make me question if mine was a real lcr haha, yes i know i have the lined up already :p 6pot for the front and 4 for the rear dont want it to be tail happy now do i :p

In all seriousness - it might be worth checking that it is actually an LCR....

Re you future brake upgrades... you might want to check up on your thinkings (but you do want better than 312mm up front)

i know ihave done the checks to make sure it was a real lcr im not silly the dvla told me so its all good, nd yes i knw im looking at 332 up front they will fit wont they ?

OE Brembo's are 328mm

But you will need to check the calliper clearance with your future new brakes

i see i see thank you very much i do look forward to getting new brakes as the standard one are pooo they wine so much under really heavy brakeing and i get lots of fade from them not good, still i love the car though best part i swapped it for a 1.6 proton haha

The OEM Brembo discs on the LCR are 323mm x 28mm
330mm x 28mm discs fit with a 3mm caliper spacer.

332mm discs will not fit without a spacer and TBH might not fit.

You might have issues with clearance with 17" wheels with the LCR Brembo's and the Porsche Brembo's

I have a EU LCR 210 fitted with recaros, but not brembo's as standrad(Fitted afterwards) and the 17" baby cupra's will fit over the Brembo GT1's

nono they did not say that to me as its not a import its uk spec and the alloys are the 18"s :) cant wait to get new brakes anyone think any other company as asposed to brembo ?
