do think i will ever get the cupra down to that times hahaha, i would be happy with a sub 13 when i have all my mods done

No chance - not unless you strip the car back to nothing and/or go big turbo. Realistically you will be looking at 13.4 at best @ Crail I reckon.

Whats the quickest time you got so far?

Also the next stage for me is buy a facelift S3 - Remap it, Blueflame exhaust and ive got intake and pump already. some coillies and thats it, prob a second if not more quicker down the 1/4mile with s-tronic, and should be better on the twisties.

Doubt you would have that much of a gain bud. The fastest Ed30's on a K04 turbo, aside from Jonny C's car run low 13's. It would be very unlikely for an S3 to manage 12.5 seconds on the 1/4 mile with a K04 turbo. That said, I would have a DSG car next time round as there is a definite gain from reduced gear change times

Stage 2+ S3 with s-tronic could do high 12 easy maybe mid 12s. If ed30s like bens can do 13.1 on stage 2 with road tyres then an s3 with quattro could get into the mid to high 12s imo. At santa pod that is.

sounds about right for road tyres.

S tronic stage 2 plus s3 are usually on average about 0.4 secs quicker down the quarter mile than a stage 2 plus cupra.

DSG ed30 get 60ft times of around 2.4secs dont they , S3 can get 60ft time of 1.6 then surely its gonna be quicker. i understand their heavier and not as mch power at the wheels but still high 12s no problem :D.

fwd ed30 dsg and s tronic s3's are pretty much doing similiar times at the pod at stage 2 plus. The ed30's and fwd tt's are slightly quicker though by a whisker. Get a TTS ;)

Na could do with a boot and less of the hairdresser comments with the S3. Ed30s must be using r888s though, im still sticking to high 12s on a nice day :p, which is a second quicker than i could manage in the cupra lol.

with race tyres those pesky ed30's are even quicker, ive just quoted road tyres vs road tyres times.

ben did a 13.117 at stage 2 in his ed30 with road tyres. Once he has a pump and intake he will be quick!

How far north

400 miles and 7 hours according to aa route planner from my house to glasgow. Reckon if I left early in the morning Id do it in 5 or so hours. Constant fuelling would get annoying though.

Should come down over a bank holiday weekend. Saturday do a track day, scn london meet, then night time activities, on the sunday a car show at the pod and 1/4 action and more nightime activities, then monday head back to scotland.

Got some nice hotels where we conduct our nightime activities for 40 a night, and there is also a 30 pound a night one but toilets etc are shared ;)

I can usually get to Killin, Perthshire in around 5 hours. Around 330 miles.

Liking the sound of the weekend, or are us oil burners not welcome?

suppose we need to find a good car show that features a rwyb at the pod at the same time or just a rwyb, then maybe a track session at brands hatch aswell all on the same weekend.

Im kind of in the middle of these two proposed events so sort it out between you, i dont mind traveling to either. Santa pod is 2hrs closer and has a better surface from what ive herd so edging that way.
