Does anyone knows what makes the sound difference on the Cupra versus FR and if it possible to have the sound of the Cupra on a FR ?
Which part of the exhaust needs to be changed and is this possible knowing that the Cupra's exhaust is central and the FR's is not ?
Thanks

Hard to explain as you have to witness it. Do a youtube search for "Bocanaegra Sound" there is a clip on there.

I have driven both BTW.

I think its a combination of different exhaust and an amplifier behind the bulk head. Dont know if the FR has one but its turned down or what? The FR was definitely quieter than my Boc though.

The diferent sound does not come from a different exhaust. The cupra has a device near the engine which makes the sound louder. I dont know if it can be fit in the Fr

we need to find out what this is on the Cupra/boc. Im sure it could be retro fitted..... 1 and a half weeks till i get my fr . cant wait

 Really? Thats a bit weird; Is it an electronic device? The best way to get your Ibiza to sound better is induction and exhaust mods.

I just rely on the turbo spooling and sucking, DV dumping and a nice burbling, sneezing and sniffing exhaust!

The wiring won't be there for the control unit so a retro fit would cost a bomb, more than an exhaust and filter anyhow.

there called butterfly valves, they just open up to amplify the exhaust note, or close to queiten it down, all porsches have them
