right when on the throttle and into boost my car whines like a supercharger all of a sudden. was just wondering if this has anything to do with my dv or a split pipe i have found. the pipe goes from my rocker cover to my tip. on the tip side it has a round plastic box on it. also on the rocker cover side the pipe splits and one part goes down into the engine. would this loose boost?

hard to explain but hopefully someone will know what i mean

I know what you mean as mine does the same but its more of a whistle on boost i would say which is the turbo spooling up. I have heard this is normal.?

Apologies if I've not understood your post; did you say you've found a split pipe?

If so, I guess fix/replace it and see if that helps?!

The is part of the pcv system, they are breather pipes, usually a split pipe here would cause a lumpy idle and in general any split pipe in system is not good as you are loosing pressure from the system.

ah right, woud this make any difference to turbo noise? jut when its spooling its really loud, wasnt sure if it was under pressure etc. its getting replacd anyways

thanks
