where are the panels from? and how good / bad are they fit wise?

Well, Hello to you too..
There from Tuning4u in Belgium. They fit really bad as you can see in the pictures.. ;)

Yesterday I was at the garage again where is Ibiza is now, 'cause the glue had dried up now.. Worked like a charm again, so the right panel is fittet too; called the painter straight away telling him te be ready in 2 weeks!.. He told me he'd call back.. don't think he was as excited as I am

And for Fl@pper, some 'pedal shots :p'
Please let me know if this is what you meant

Nice project!
How about the headlights? Will you use the original ones?

Yeah the headlights will be the orinal Valeo, the dual ones.. Maybe later I'll try to replicate the Carbon Rally ones ;)

Cut a hole for the blinkers, and fitted them too. Like to keep it a little bit OEM :p

Mr. Paint told me 1 1/2 weeks! I will visit him this week to see how he's doing, and snap some pics!

Can't wait! :dance::dance:

Wish our paint guys here in SA would take so long to do the spray work, here we gotta wait months if we are lucky :p

Would love to see how it looks when its all put together :)

Looking good pal!!

Love that rear bumper, which is it?
Don't think I've seen it before

What colour you getting it done, the original rally yellow?

Keep it up

looks like that's the oddball Mid FL one i think jenk had on 'purple Ronnie' as well

It's an original Seat bumper, which was only fitted on ibiza's in 1997 for 9 months or so.. I don't understand why, because this is way better then the 1997+ bumper :D
(especially the diffuser-style part, which are coming back on the new audi's and stuff now in 2010, 13 years later :p)

It was really hard to find this bumper, but glad I found a fresh one :)

The color will be the orinal of the car; 'Ammarillo Bengala 2c', can't remember which code that is :p

Lol yeah that bumper really is nice, I've seen the front bumper for the mid facelift but never the rear.

I take it thats bengal yellow? lol

did you just bond the rear arches on or cut out the steel rear 3/4 panel first and remake inner arches to reach?

I just bonded it to the original steel panels, to keep the car firm and solid.. didn't edit them much, as seen on the pics

Nice work, looking forward to seeing the end product :)

Yep Fl@pper, thats the same rear bumper as mine. F2 rear is very similar in shape but does not have the bottom plastic trim piece.
