Window dropped into the door today, got all the panel off etc and having looked on a few threads got a regulator repair kit for a VW Golf as I was running out of time (garage opening hours) and the VW dealer is 10 mins away as opposed to Seat which is 30.

Basically same as this one:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/98-06-VW-Golf...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item53d773814f

Doesn't fit :( The depth of the runners is deeper on the golf so the new metal parts won't go on - I can't believe they made such a tiny change between the 2 cars!

So I'll have to take the one I got back to VeeDub.

Question is, do Seat do the kits too?
