I don't think I'll ever use the feature if I'm honest mate, just good to say it's there, sounds awesome too lol yeh lightened g60 flywheel and vr6 clutch will get done if it ever needs one in my ownership! Though up until my ownership the cars had a mega easy life haha

I was fancying a wotbox just for the bangs on gear changes lol havnt really stuck it on launch control and havnt since it was mapped, I'll try get a video tomorrow!

only done on phones mind.Standard airbox is back in too, big dirty cone is doing the car no good with the amount of air its sucking in now. Need a thermal inlet gasket and a meaty cold air feed. Enjoying not hearing the spooling so much and dumping back in the inlet so think im gonna run the standard airbox with a better panel filter tbh!

Just ordered a Newsouth Power Gasket and an Uprated panel filter. Damn my not been able to sleep and spending money in my bordom!

if you want a good idea how your exhaust sounds you should open the rear windows thats what i do when i feel the need to hear it.
also how is the launch control setup for you to activate it is there a swicth of some sort?

The air it was sucking in was just too much too hot sorta thing up top end and the ecu was backing the car off. Spoke to another couple of lads last night one was stage 2 p torque and his is fine with a halfords filter. Got a newsouth gasket in the post and panel filter in the post then should be spot on
liking the car been quieter! Rear windows don't open on mine. They did on the fr though, weird!
The launch control is a feature in the ecu as standard and just needs activating. It works by recognising that you are stood still and sets the limiter to 4k rpm then as soon as you go over 5mph (I think, could be less) it removes the limiter and allows you to rev round as normal. Tried it a couple of times and you get a massive bang and off you go!

like it miles better with the standard air box on, just feels more refined and gf likes it a tad more haha it's on in that video above

Goddamn! Such an easy job! Abit fiddly like but dead easy. I undid all the bolts that hold the mani to the head like last time then set about looking at what what stopping it coming away, so unit all the bolts holding the air pump on and undid the plastic pipe that goes from this to the cylinder you take off and blank when removing the sai and still it didn't budge. I then saw this bolt:
Completely missed this the other night :/ once undone the mani came away fine, swapped the gasket over and all back together,
took me about half an hour! I'll blame not seeing it the other night on the fact it was 10pm and light wasn't the best haha

have you road tested it since then felt the inlet manifold after?
that gasket keeps the inlet mani nice and cool.
