New FL Leon

Morning,

Decided to sell my 2007 FR and get the facelift version.

Similar spec to before, 18's and bluetooth but this time in Candy white - and I had side-skirts and spoiler fitted locally (Thanks to Sere for supplying).

Very happy so far, while the old car ticked all boxes there's some good improvements on the new car - particularly the engine.

Havent had my bluefin swapped over yet, but thats next.

Lovely motor always liked the black wheels and white combo wife thinks it is too macho. Yes the FL does improve things in many areas. Engine seems to be about 9mpg better in terms of fuel economy as well and suspension more compliant.

White with black wheels. It's a classic that never dies. Love it on the MkII Leon. Nice reflections off the white too.

Out of interest, I was under the impression that the FL skirts were different from the pre FL skirts. The pics on this thread and on the speed blue thread show skirts that look awfully similar to the pre facelift skirts.

Those older style 'triangular' skirts are discontinued in favour of the newer smoother ones which is the part number I supplied. I havent a clue how you ended up with those!!!!!!!!!!
All my other stock is the new type as I have just opened all the boxes.

Looking at the catalogue link above there David, the yellow car does show the older type skirts on the car, and they appear to be similar to the ones on Haddocks Leon?

Do the old and new skirts share a part number?

They're the ones you sent, and I've just checked the code on the instructions which is as above...

Has anyone a pic showing the other ones??
