Hi all!
Just figured i'd better start a journal rather than spamming my "hi i'm new" thread with piccies of my car
Here it is in Chronological (ish) order
Let me know what you all think, good or bad!


Well this is what it looked like at the beginning of the year

Here it is the day before Modified Nationals, with a broken inner CV joint.... it was a pig and i ended up going in a mates car

After being a bit disheartened by missing the best show of the year, in my opinion of course, i kinda just let it sit for a while, bought an E30 325i and ran that for a bit, then sold that ( offer i couldn't refuse! it was dolphin grey and wasn't rotten, a rarity to say the least lol!)
So drove the cordy for a while up until the Tax ran out.
So thats when i decided to take her off the road and give it a real going over!
starting with painting the egnine cover

Then after selling my Steffan's i serviced the coilovers, replaced both rear wheel bearings

Thats been it mechanically!
Now i've been busy making a proper install (will have a vanity cover colour coded to the car when i've finished it)

I thin installed my 2007 Audi A4 convertible interior, front seats are in as shown here

Back seats are in but have been pulled out again until i have finished installing my sound system
Oh and i got myself a new steering wheel to match the seats, just gotta buy the suitable boss!

So there we are, i'm in the middle of prepping my bumpers for a respray, and the rear 1/4' s as the arches are a little scabby! i'm thinking of doing the wings too and deleting the side repeaters??

Love that interior, was it a pretty simple install or were there a few problems??

Thanks dude! Erm i'm not going to lie, the interior is an arse to fit! all custom fabrication, and i'm still figuring out the electrics for the seats, lucky they have manual controls also!
It's now a four seater, due to the new interior, but hey its a coupe, and i never have more than three passengers anyway!

Quick update, got my new wheels today!
!7" Audi TT Comps will post piccies tomorrow, after i measure up what thickness adaptors i will need to fit them

Now i can finally get the arches modded and finish the paintwork
Expect lots of updates in the near future now!

So thats how you got that jack under the car? I heard that the side repeaters are needed for the MOT so might be worth looking into just incase.

what brakes you running? are they 14" Borbet T's? (or Steffans?)
I have been offered so many 14's, but the RM's just cover my brakes lol

Hahaha yeah its really Bruce Banner's piss.... all the srength i need LMAO! And yes the repeaters are an MOT requirement.... i was thinking of putting them on the mirror or somewhere like that , just to hide them really and be my own worst enemy haha

Thanks! yeah please don't be a stranger, as i said all feedback good or bad is more than welcome! i'm just shocked than no-one hates it yet haha! The back seats, are fitted yes, i've had to make inserts to go between the rear panels and the seat, with it being from a 4 seater, its a tad narrower, so i took the opportunity to add some creature comforts like cup holders in the builds etc, pics will be up as soon as i have them back in for fettling and then covering etc !

Haha more like behind, to the side, then overtaking but yeah if you see me (which i don't think will be hard haha!) give me a flash or come say hi

The brakes are standard SX ones as far as i'm aware? they were Steffan BCW's and it was mighty tight, but they cleared! Thanks for the kind words, loving the RM's on yours btw

They've got some cool mirrors on ebay with indicators built in for the cordy.

The other thing is they hekko wind deflectors that I found thanks to SCO5TYE's post. Mine arrived today and am rather pleased. Might be worth a look.

hmmmm theyre a little too pimp my ride-uk for me haha but thanks dude! i apreciate the help, im thinking of getting some polo 6n2 mirrors and putting an LED or 3 in the outer edge?? whatcha think?
i've been looking for deflectors everywhere!! let me know what theyre like to live with, i might just have to get some if theyre decent!

those mirrors only belong on chavved corsas, saxos, puntos and 106's. you can just about get away with fitting a row of orange LEDs under the mirrors.
