Nightmare car

Hi,
Bit naive here but I have a 52 plate Alhambra and I'm struggling to find 3 replacement seat belts for it. All I kind find are mk1.
I saw the topic on here showing a mk2 Alhambra which only came out in 2010!
Wikipedia states Mk1 (1996-2010) & Mk2 - (2010-) but I phoned the local Seat dealer and they 'think' a '52 Alhambra is a mk2???? Help

Also there's a suspicious regular tapping (knocking) noise coming from the engine. When running on stand still it is really obvious but quietens a lot when I apply the clutch.

It's probably a mark 1 with a face lift but I would've thought the seatbelts are all the same.
I'm pretty sure it's the same with my Cordoba.

Your knocking will either be the main shaft in the gearbox or the clutch release bearing both of which I wouldn't worry to much about unless it started to get a lot worse.:D

from what i can tell the facelift models are the same as the older ones.

i say this as i needed the seat belt clip for my 98 Bamma and got one out of a 51 plate facelift....fitted perfectly and the seat belt clips in fine as well......so you SHOULD be ok with the seat belts you have found.

hope this helps
