Good evening everyone here at SeatCupra.

My names Neil and i have recently bought new Seat Leon in black. My last car was black an just like them when they are all polished up. :D

Now i have been planning this car for a few months now and i have saved up money to add a few modifications to it. Here is the list of stuff that is being fitted and added to the car next week:

Complete BTCC bodykit with double exit exhaust (one at either side)
Front Cupra R front splitter
19" Mercedes SL63's
Coilovers
Chrome mirror covers
Wind deflectors on the front windows

I will take a few pictures during the process to let you all have a look and follow how things go.

As i am new to this forum and indeed to Seat and the Leon i would appreciate any information anyone has to offer on the Leon 2.0 TDI Sport and/or the modifications that i am doing.

I was also thinking of painting the chrome lip, on the outer edge, of the seat badge grill at the bonnet of the car while this is being done. Any pictures on this forum of other black Leon owners that have also done this??

Anyways, just wanted to pop on and introduce myself and say hey to the forum. If your interested in the modifications im getting done then feel free to follow the process along. ;)

Chat soon.

Neil.

lol Graham it definitely doesnt fit, ive checked with 3 bodyshops lol! i seen a fella fit one one time but it had to be stretched because of the way the bumper is at the bottom and it looked just awful so he took it straight back off!

Thanks for all your comments.

I was out in my dad's car garage rubbing down the bodykit there today ready for painting at the start of the week. :D

I am getting FK Coilovers fitted with the wheels at the wheel specialists. They are goin to set the height when i am their so it is exactly the way i want it.

I am from just outside Cookstown in Northern Ireland.

I will get a few pictures up at the start of the week and again thanks for the comments an makin me feel welcome here at SeatCupra.Net!! ;)

Any other hits and suggestions??

Thanks, Neil

Hey everyone,

Sorry it has been a while since i got a chance to get on this an get ya's filled in on how the car is goin.

Well it is coming along good. The car got the following painted and fitted at my dad's body shop there last week:

front bumper
front splitter
front black grill
chrome mirrors
side skirts
back bumper and double side exit exhaust.

The only thing left is the spoiler which arrives monday and fitted tuesday evening after the 19" wheels and coilovers get fitted on tuesday morning.

As you will see from my last picture i have went with the older style side vents in the front bumper as i feel it give a meaner and sharper look along with the front splitter.

Anyways, let me know what ya all think.

I will post more photo's later in the week when i get the wheels etc on.

Chat soon.

Neil.

Well if your from cookstown mate take a run round to the spoiler centre. they make a splitter to fit the BTCC bumper. i havent got one yet but will be getting one from them after xmas!

Just gettin around to mention about the splitter, the splitter they have has to be heated and stretched to the bottom of the bumper. i think it is some kind of universal splitter as he says people fit it to a load of other cars to as it can be stretched so easy.
the splitter is only 30-40 pounds so even if you do make a mess of stretchin it the first time ya can have a 2nd or 3 rd go for not much pennies compared to the big difference it makes to the look of the car!!
For the record i got mine stretched an on first time lucky enough!! :D
Just thought i would fill ya in.
