Strut Braces

wondering if anyone has fitted strut braces (rear and front) to there car i have the 8v GTi and wonder if it makes a difference to how the car handles mine has standard suspension on it only info would be great

makes a big difference to understeer with the weight of the engine at the front.

I have front and rear on my 1.4, im pretty sure it made a difference although I cant remember when it didnt have them!

thanks for the feed back just looking at some on ebay now, just thinkin looking for something with better handling thats all, any expirence with suspension and how low makes a difference to handling ?

get coilies or proper lowered shockers with lower springs and aim for 50-60mm drop, 20mm spacers on the rear, 28mm front anti roll bar and rear anti roll bar.

I'd do most of these before thinking about a strut brace.

just in my experience but fitted it not long before coilies. used to understeer around ever corner before. now it has virtually no understeer. i messed around with the camber a little too though.
