Yeh I know poverty it sometimes gets on my nervs but it was the previous owner that did it and I did buy a new bumper to replace it but it doesn't have the washer holes so will be waiting until it needs the front end sprayed to get it looking like a Cupra again

But again it is something at times that I quite like due to it being not too much of the black and White.... But I will see what happens

Ibiza made 189 bhp on the rollers but the tuner kept hitting kickdown so had to do a no load run(for autos) and he says that they usually make 10bhp less on the road so bang on stock figures

PAINTED MILLTEK RESONATED CAT BACK

Spent an hour before starting work and an hour after cleaning up the milltek cat back that I have had sitting. Used scotchbrite roloc pads on a roloc sander. The poor quality of the milltek soon became visible. I never took any pics but the ones with a milltek with 10k+ miles will soon see.

I got this cheap so I decided that even though it cleaned up and looked all new it is not something that I am interested in....

This was the outcome.

Just to prove it's a milltek

Halfords very high temp paint via spray!

REALLY POOR PIC WITH MILLTEK FITTED

Very poor pic to be honest even for IPhone standards.

Fitted just 5 mins ago took about 20 mins. Will need to get some better clamps tho as these are too small but I will do that at a later date.

One words sums this system - quiet!

Really glad I painted the exhaust now especially the back box as it is visible from below the bumper due to the silencer being shorter and thicker than oem.

Will look for a non resonated pipe as it is maybe too quiet but if I do get the down pipe I will need it resonated again as it will then be far too loud for me.

Not much to be honest. Not any louder. Pipe work is about 1/4 inch bigger on average

You will see it when you get back looks ace with the black exhaust tip in the black bit of the bumper

WINTERS REMOVED AND NEXT YEARS WINTER WHEELS

Removed the winter tyres today after work. Back to the pirelli p zero rosso's that were on it from new! Grip in this weather compared to winters is brilliant

But all in all, best £150 ever spent on the winters!
Rockstone ice plus winters:

More than enough left for next time.

Next year (if I still have it) the tyres will be mounted on some winter wheels (r32 replicas)

Got these for a £100, sanded (paper free), primed with high build (£10), painted using mercedes Benz iridium silver code 9775 (paint in rattle tins free) all that is required is a lacquer (of Couse this will be free using mercedes Benz rattle tin lacquer)

DBILAS FITTED

Well this morning I was up early and was in work an hour before start time.

My task this morning was fitting the dbilas intake and removing the broken engine cover.

Well both cars have just been cleaned and given a coat of werkstatt acrylic tonight. Will get some pics of them both over the weekend I hope
